Bill Cuthbertson, CFP®, CRPC™, APMA™ brings over 20 years of experience in financial services to Main Street Financial Solutions.  A year after graduating from Coastal Carolina University with a bachelor’s degree in marketing, Bill joined a fledgling financial advisory practice formed within the American Express Financial Advisors’ franchise channel in 2003.  A couple of years later, American Express spun off its financial advisory business, creating Ameriprise Financial.  During his time with American Express/Ameriprise, Bill quickly established himself as a versatile self-starter, taking on multiple roles to support the firm’s growth and success from the ground up.  In 2006, he acquired his securities licenses and a year later was officially appointed as a fully licensed financial advisor.  While continuing to serve in multiple capacities within the practice (including planning and operational support, providing technology and systems expertise, as well as organizational leadership/training), Bill began working directly with individuals, families, and small businesses – guiding them to identify and achieve their most important financial priorities through a personalized approach to planning.  As a lifelong learner and analytical problem solver, he has a passion for staying current within the ever-changing financial landscape and exploring best practices around delivering advice and effecting behavioral change, leading to better outcomes.  He currently holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™, and Accredited Portfolio Management Advisor™ designations.

Bill lives in Sanatoga, PA and enjoys spending time with family, reading, golf, kayaking, fishing, and hiking.  He has been married to his high school sweetheart Dani since 2002 and has two boys – Evan and Ben.  He has been involved in his church community and has served as coach for his sons’ baseball teams over the years.
